ARBORETUM. Located in the bustling Arboretum shopping complex, Dakotas is a pleasant retreat away from the crowds. The menu draws from a wide range of culinary influences, from Cajun to Italian, all complemented by delicious, hot breads and desserts made in-house. Reservations available.

MYERS PARK. Step back in time when you enter the Hotel Charlotte through the old speakeasy exterior. Its interior is actually furnished from the old Hotel Charlotte that existed in the early days. The bar is 130 years old and boasts an extensive selection of beers from around the world. Cajun and Creole dishes are the specialty, and when in season, the oyster stew is marvelous. Steaks, chicken, burgers and salads are mainstays, and parents will be delighted with the kids' menu.
